It all balances out. Some watch the games through Manu. Others watch the game through Tony, Tim and even Nazr. In the end, it all balances out. Each opinion helps achieve the ultimate goal.

Given there is not much to talk about, here's a question for posters to munch on:
When it comes to discussing b-ball and the Spurs, should our opinions be discounted or brushed aside because we have only been following the team since Manu’s arrival? (at least the vast majority of us)
What do you guys think? (MB, Sequ refrain from posting obscenities)![]()

No way.
Opinions are going to get dissed and discounted but usually it is either because of:
1) a history of poor takes and silly, look-at-me thread-starters, or
2) fun-loving jousting and jesting...usually deserved jesting, BTW.
smeagol, if you are not relevant, how could I ever be?![]()
No, your opinions count just as much as anyone else's. If you're semi-intelligent and think out your posts, you shouldn't be discredited just because you haven't been following the team for 20 years.
Besides, smeagol, you are vBookie King
This Forum IS self-correcting, though. The weak and sickly are flushed.
no, if anything discounts your opinions it's the fact you are from Argentina

Ginofan, thanks.
By the way, I love your site. If there are any new Manu videos available, please let me know.
In my first few years as a basketball fan, I would have followed David Robinson to whatever team he went to. But I still cared about the Spurs' affairs, because what was good for them was good for Robinson.
Obviously it's going to be considered... For example if we have a chance to sign LeBron James and Tracy McGrady for $10 million total and 20 Argentinians claim it's a bad idea, we're going to figure it's because you are Manu fans and don't want to see your guy have a diminished role.

The fact I'm from Argentina discounts my opinions in a number of topics, not only b-ball.![]()
I like Argies and Slovenes, because they travel in packs and attack vigorously when the Lilliputian spouts off.

Solid, even you sense of humour is classy
Speaking of Argentineans, Nocioni today said that is difficult to Argentineans to adapt to NBA due to the outstanding physical features of NBA players, and that he has to adapt because he has nothing of it. But ( this is the best part ) when asked who is the best player he has to defende, the answer is Paul Pierce because the guy understand the game not like Le Bron James who is a little bit dumb for the game yet, but kills your with athleticism". Chapu classic.

What about the Virgin Islanders? And the Frenchies? And the Kiwi's?
Seriously, I like reading the posts from most of the foreign contingency here becuase they either (1) post stuff I'd never look for otherwise like translated articles or new videos, or (2) bring a non-SA outlook on matters.
It's all good.
smeagol - I didn't like the Spurs very much until way after Duncan got here and I run this board. So you guys can be Manu lovers all you want and still get respect.![]()
I thought this said We Aggies, sorry.
Bandwagon fan!!!![]()
I didn't even like them that much after they won the le in 1999Bandwagon fan!!!But I was happy for Duncan.
IMO, the Argentineans' point of view is appreciated, and should be appreciated. How unique it must be for a basketball forum in the US to be able to attract such a diverse population of posters that include Agrentineans, Slovenes, and French people.
With two Argentinean players now members of the Spurs, I would think even more of our Argentine friends will join this forum.
Can't read right, huh? You know you are just perpetuating a stereotype.

TO be honest I appreciate MY opinion
Besides that I like this forum for the humor and some good analysis, it doesn't count where you are from or what team you support![]()
Be prepared, Oberto will attract more females fans especially when they discover him playing sweet melodies with his violin what is his hobby (My fiancé added this last sentence)![]()
Which site is that?
Manu20, thanks for the info.
I think Argie's insight is good if we are able to filter the pure homers. We should be civilised enough as to be able to take anyone critics without defending Manu's stupid turnovers or bad decisions blindly. That is what pisses everyone off. (including me) As long as we can do that, everyone should be fine.
