The All NBA Teams are usually out by now. In fact, we're two weeks late based on the last few years. One wonders if the NBA is delaying it because the Spurs have no one on the list, and until yesterday at least, looked likely to be in the Finals. Maybe it would be embarrassing to the list's validity if a finals team, with home court no less, had no representatives. Maybe they were taking a "wait and see" at ude to see if the Thunder upset us.
Probably not true, but the delay is unusual.
I doubt it's anything like that; I started to wonder if they're waiting to make it some sort of spectacle during the Finals or something like that.
The All-Defense teams are also delayed this year for some reason.
It may also be that the league knows there will be some down time between the end of the conference finals and the Finals, even if the West Finals go to 7 games, and they're waiting to release those teams during that down time.
They know that no Spurs are on either team and don't want to embarrass themselves by having the Spurs in the Finals and maybe even winning it all with no All NBA players.
It's news for a day and then everyone forgets about it. Not sure what the delay is.
News Flash...we barely had an all star, and it was arguable that even Tony shouldn't have been there. We will not have any all-nbaers.
spurs are a team not individual players, which is why they don't get picked for individual awards that often.
