    Strange at ude towards representing your country. Certainly in Europe, it's seen as an honour. Representing a club is a profession.

    For soccer, yes. Europe doesn't give a about FIBA though. Ratings are terrible and some countries don't even bother to broadcast the games. The World Cup/European Championship is an important award in soccer(the most prestigious actually). In basketball, it's meaningless.

    Most people would get fired if they were performing poorly in their job. It's disrespectful of Parker to on the tens of thousands of San Antonio fans(the people that pay for his livelihood when they buy Spur tickets) in favor of a minority audience in France who are probably more interested in soccer anyway.

    Get well soon Tony. Rest is much needed here. Miami will be a brutal matchup. Lebron is 10x the player Durant is and Wade is much more efficient than Chuckbrook.
