thanks for sharing your view. I've been interested in checking it out and have noticed the reviews are split down the middle. Some say it's great, others say it's extremely boring.

Another WW2 movie?
Never seen it or heard of it.
it was about the greatest u.s. rescue attempt in american history. 511 pows rescued at one time by a company of rangers and phillipine guerillas...
I like WW2 Movies like The Thin Red Line, Saving Private Ryan, and Midway but I hate movies like Wind Talkers (worst war movie EVER) and Pearl Harbor.
yeah, this was more a saving private ryan movie.. it was cool, you had people cheering at the end... the capt who led the actual raid and the lt col who was in charge of the operation were consulted heavily in the making of the movie..
