Conventional wisdom seems to be that Timmy will sail off into the sunset never to be heard from again but I wonder about that. He seems to love the game too much just to leave it all behind. I wouldn't be surprised to see Coach Duncan someday.
What do you see TD doing after he can't play anymore?

Wouldn't surprise me to see him buy a minority share of the team like Robinson did. Wouldn't be too bad an investment with how stacked the current CBA is in the owners' favor.

Ric Renner said he thinks TD can play into his mid-40s.
Ric doesn't seem like the type to exaggerate, so Tim's decision may not be for a while.

I know timmy's a millionaire, but can't help but wonder with the divorce how much he lost, his body is in great shape, i'm sure he wouldn't mind playing a few more years, making a few more million for his kids, afterall, dude is 38 and still getting double doubles and is better power forward then 70% of the others.
It'd be awesome to see him and David in the stands together during in-game cutaways, cheering on a Kawhi fast break dunk
When he retires, he'll have some say in the organization but not be officially involved. He's got some businesses to run in the area and lots of hobbies to keep him occupied post-basketball.
But, I don't want him to retire, not yet. He's got at least 2 more solid years in him left based on how well he's playing now and how little he plays in the regular season.
I don't see him as a coach or in a front office position at all. Actually I don't see him doing anything basketball-related after retiring, but if he does something I think he would development consultant/mentor for Spurs bigs.
