Amazing performance. Almost let it get away.
the refs.
the "King".
Spurs in 5 or 6 depending on if refs can fix game 4.
Amazing performance. Almost let it get away.
Yup!!!!
They almost defeated themselves though. That 3rd quarter was one of the worst quarters of the year.
Good thing my "as long as" didn't kill the Spurs. Whew!
I still haven't recovered.
After that horrid third I sat slumped in my chair until 8:00 left in the game.....
It was my fault. Whenever i tried to watch the Heat would go on a run.
Refereeing was bad for both teams, don't think Miami got a lot of help from the refs tbh.
It wasn't that bad. We started off poorly but by the end we were getting great looks at the rim and 3 but they weren't going down. No surprise we cooled off after shooting 76% in the 1st half.
They defeated the media tonight as well, don`t forget to mention that.
I literally had the TV on mute the entire 4th quarter until about 4 minutes to go when they started showing fans leaving. Helped keep my blood pressure down![]()
Should read: Spurs defeat Lebron and ESPN to take game 3.
Can't believe we won 2 games in a row with Tony Brothers
Most of Miami's ref help was being allowed to hack and foul on drives and post ups without being called for their violations. Duncan has been getting fouled about three times as often than is actually being called.
Miami only got about 5 bogus OKC-esque calls, but the whistle swallowing is the biggest factor. When the announcers say "Miami is just being more aggressive on both ends", I ask you, then why are the supposed non aggressive team the only one being called for fouls? If you're playing aggressive, you're probably fouling more. Which they were; it just wasn't getting called. That's the Spurs' kryptonite. When the other team is simply allowed to commit repeated violations while SA is reffed strict as at the same time. Aka fixed or "a coincidental, constant string of calls favoring the other team" periods of time to help the Spurs' opponent.
That's a major reason OKC beat us in 2012. Notice when the refs stopped doing it tonight, Spurs were blowing them out any time that wasn't happening.
I also didn't like that those ers at ESPN didn't really show any replays of the fouls Duncan was calling out the refs for. I wanted to take a look at some of those and see if Tim was correct.
There were so many replays I wanted to see, that they didn't show. Don't remember such a lack of good replays before. The broadcasters were always talking about something else, when I wanted a replay.
Don't like this crew or station.
Spurs got away with 4-6 travels, and other than the 3rd quarter the refs let the Spurs play physical for once... Couldn't of asked for better refs IMO
Yeah ever since the 2012 $cript and JVG calling the officiating out... They've gone away from replaying missed calls. Now they replay highlights or show the series schedule
They're full of . Pretty much the same for me, the replays I wanted to see, they never showed at all. Absolute crap, they just kept changing the subject and wouldn't show those replays.
