Read this as well. Could be a true coup I think, if it's true. He's had tremendous success in Europe and thus has a wealth of experience coaching at a high level (top of Euroleague is no NBA but it's not nothing either). If they are looking at this for a future head coach type of deal then its fantastic that they could get him as an assistant for a few years prior to help familiarize him with the organization and also to get a feel for him. You never know what you're gonna get when you hire a new head coach so having him work as an assistant for a few years will help you evaluate as well.
