Loved the spurs gameplan last night. Defensively they seem to be in a set where they sent one or at times two help defenders on lebron while dedicating someone to shadow and babysit coat tail Ray. Manu in particular was wonderful and didn't give allen many clean looks. From there they just hustled and dared there role players to play out of there heads to beat us. Miami always likes to put the emphasis on there big three and essentially have Ray allen or in the past Battier and miller deliver back breaking threes to snatch games. Pop was saying score 65 if you have to lebron " It won't be enough". Kudos to all the spurs for giving us a hassle free day and oppurtunity to see Stephen A Smith and wagon heat fans silenced.

its really not hard of a game plan to defend the Heat.

Force Lebron to hold the ball killing ball movement. Force a long 2 or bad 3, stay home on the shooters, dont allow dribble penetration.

Do that, rebound the ball, and thats all you can ask for.

True but very few teams have the discipline and personnel to execute said game plan and the spurs on numerous occasions have fell asleep and surrendered three after 3. Just feels good to see them execute it nearly at optimum levels
