Interesting pickup, not the player he was a few yrs back, but nonetheless can be productive & will only help the Suns, not hurt them.
He might actually see some minutes, which has to be an improvement.
Too bad PHX lost QRich and JJ (did they?? I have no idea anymore.). They could have been a very good team still if they had kept their guys. But now, I doubt it. Even with getting grant, they dont scare me.
Funny how far they are from the "we are confident we can win it our way" run and gun team they were last year.
I feel as long as the Suns have Nash, Marion, and Stoudemire they will be a running team but now they got more defense to go with that. They got enough people who can score so I feel they are still the best offensive team.
They can score but they won't be effective at the 3 now. So it will be easier to guard them.
Actually they will. Marion will go back to the three and Amare to the 4.
Phoenix sure loves those undersized centers:
We'll see. Maybe not as effective from the 3, but you'll see a lot more pick n roll with Amare & Nash. That is virtually unguardable.
We have lots of people who can hit 3's Nash,Marion,Jackson,Bell,Jones,Thompson, and Padgett. That's 7 people who can hit 3's i think the suns will be okay.
Go Suns!
Hows Erick Dampier working out for Dallas?
BTW, Phoenix looks set to continue their pace of game from last year.
And overall they now have better 3 point shooters this season then last.
Players and their 3 point shooting %
Lost...
JJ 47.8%
Q 35.8%
Gained...
Bell 40.3%
James Jones 39.8%
House 45.4%
Retained...
Nash 43.1%
Barbosa 36.7%
JJax 45.9% (shooting with the Suns)
______
They will still be a force to reckon with from the 3 point land.
I'd love to see Rasho in a PHX uniform.
