All this talk about the hands of Leonard got me thinking about the Robert Johnson mystery. How could he play the cords he was playing? There was even talk of one guitar but two guys playing it. Blues historians were baffled. Then they finally found a picture of Robert, the one below isn't the one, this one came later but is a better example. Look at those fingers, they look freaky, that's why he could reach places on a guitar neck nobody else could.

Some years ago Rolling Stone Magazine did a THE BEST 100 GUITARISTS. Robert was in the top 10. But, the amazing Lonnie Johnson who was a big influense on Robert wasn't even mentioned. You can't have blues cats ranked (many were) and not have Lonnie Johnson.
