We don't have any free agents. There is still one more game to win this season before this is spoken of.

We keep Boris, Mills and Baynes. Bonner. He's been good in Pop's rope a dope offense to wear out the Heat, but he's done pretty much nothing all season.
    How much you thinking?

I also felt/feel that way about bonner, but last game he came in and hit a layup, so I'm sure that is enough for a resign at 3 mil again?

    Keep:
Diaw - For small ball he is a must he is the glue to the team
Mills - We have been ing for years to have a good backup to TP
Baynes - We need the enforcer for team like Houston and Grizz.

    Gone:
Bonner - We have more players that can hit a 3 and Bertrans will probably come over.
Daye - Give his money to Baynes the dude is slower then a snail
CJ -Starting to like him but if Mills stays then I see him being traded at draft night.

Splitter contract was actually genius the front loading/declining annual salary will likely be big for the spurs when it is time to resign Kahwi and reconfigure the roster based upon number of more years Manu and Tim play.

Right now Timmy and Manu are looking pretty damn good IMHO, as are their meager contracts. This is even being discussed on TV sports centers. Tiago too for that matter.
If we could keep them AND also acquire Kevin Love, then we would be set going into the future.
Don't know much about Daye, but I like the contributions of Diaw and Mills.
If Bonner could be resigned to help make a trade for Love as well as using Cojo, Baynes, and/or Ayers, and some combination of draft picks and stashed foreign players, I would be all for it.
The real question is, would Minn. be for it, as well as Love?

I would keep Baynes. He will be a decent player

The way I look at it is this, we have Diaw and Green, who combined make less than Splitter, but were both individually 2x better and more important to the team. If Im diaw and dont get paid Splitter money Im pissed. Same with Green. Splitter is not worth anything near where we signed him. I dont know how else you could argue that, hes the third highest paid on the team and probably our 7th or 8th best player after:

    tim
    tony
    manu
    Green
    Diaw
    Mills
