Cornbread Maxwell got one for Boston, so, not so much.
% of Finals MVP's who DON't make the hall is very small. Like 1 or 2 guys, I think.
Obviously, Leonard's got a long way to go...but man did he fast forward the trip. 3 years, 3 conference finals, 2 finals, 1 championship and a FINALS MVP!
And it's great to see how they all love him!

YES HE DID. KAWHI!!!!!
Jo Jo White and Cedric Maxwell are the only ones who didn't make it to the HoF. Chauncey Billups is probably on the bubble.
This Finals, and the MVP trophy, really raised Kawhi's profile. He won't be overlooked for the All-Star selection any more, and his D on Lebron alone will probably guarantee him a few All-Defensive selections.
What this could mean, for what we have in store for us as Spurs fans over the next 10+ seasons. He has, undeniably, changed this franchise, pried the doors of the mausoleum open. Might we not look back in a decade's time, and say that this was just a sign of things to come? There's no words man, I just feel lucky that I'll get to watch this kid his whole career, and excited to see where he's able to take the Spurs, because the bell has ing tolled, a final's MVP is as clear a sign as any that this'll be Kawhi's team shortly, quicker than any of us could have expected.
Last name ever
First name greatest.
Enjoy this moment. Dont overthink it. Leave it for tommorrow
No one makes the HOF in 3 seasons.
If Kawhi wants to take the next step,
he'll average 18-20 next season.
