great trade
Good job Pop & RC
George Hill just punched a busload of kids probably
Yeah, this forum almost melted down over that trade. 99 to one hated it.
i remember when indiana picked kawhi (without knowing spurs traded for him), and the spurs needing a true SF, i thought why couldnt the spurs draft somebody like kawhi
a few mins later, they did, holy , amazing trade
spurs had been real contenders since that trade
That trade ing got this team to back to back finals IMO, best trade in team history to say the least.
Tim just said he was best at that trade
THEFT OF THE CENTURY!!!!!!!!!!!
I wasn't a Kawhi-lover at the time (knew nothing about him) but I loved the trade, because I'm a Think Tank guy and love trades in general. I also have faith in the Spurs' ability to draft players.
I hate the Spurs being passive so much, so I'm pretty much ecstatic when they do anything.
This should be his 2nd 'ship, and his 2nd FMVP, he belongs in the HOF, retire his jersey
Thank you Larry Bird! George Hill isn't a slouch by any means, but he's no "Kiwi".

Imagine if RJ had been halfway useful and the trade had never happened for that reason?
Speaking of RJ, loved the oop to Kawhi
Greatest steal since Frank Robinson went to the Orioles in 1966. Kudos to you Kawhi
Bird won exec of the year that season. Not the only move he made of course but the first one of the year now looks like a Kwame/Pau level boondoggle.
Who still wants George Hill?
Funny, I'm not sure I would trade Patty Mills for George Hill now.. definitely not if you consider salary.
Crazy scouting/fortune/luck/skill, however you want to look at it.
The Spurs FO is the best in the business, and they proved it once again tonight.
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
Great trade obviously but no reason to dump on George Hill, he was a great Spur, hope he continues to do well in Indiana.
