Because tony has a fragile ego, tbh.
53-42 and Miami still within striking distance when Patty was inserted for Parker. Enrique at the time was about 0-8 with 1 assist in 22 minutes.
Within a span of less then 3 minutes, Pattycake drilled:
2 point shot
3 pointers on back to back possessions
1 more trey after a GNob trey
Patty then assisted on a Kwa trey.
Hit another trey himself.
End of Pattys 3 minute outburst.
Score? 73-53 and for all intents and purposes this game is a wrap, barring a gift choke the magnitude of only last year could reach.
What more will Patty do?
Next trip down the floor, Enrique Parker looks offan open Patty and chucks up another shot to go 0-10.
Patty started the 4th, but got pulled about a minute later.
He did not reenter til about 6 minutes were left in the game, he got another assist but being the team player he is combined with Enrique taking every shot attempt he could, Patty did not take another attempt in what would be his final 3 minutes played.
Parker with the huge lead did go on a made basket tear. I hope he wasn't stat padding to try to catch up to Kwa but regardless, he was making shots to the tune of like 7 strait so Viva La Frenchy for that *close* in the 4th.
Back to Patty,
18 minutes played.
17 points on 5-8 treys for an effective field goal % of like 75-80%.![]()
Pattys initial outburst most def took the game from Nyya Miami has a slight chance of comeback to -Over. Ballgame.
I don't know you take him out as his D was also ball hawking/energenic, but at any rate, it's all good as Championship #5 is in hand.
Just wondering.
Because tony has a fragile ego, tbh.
Fabbs still blaming Pop
Haters really are gonna hate, aren't they?
I love that these mofos can't enjoy the championship. Too much salt.
WHO CARES WE WON WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I can't tell if CD is being purposely ironic or not...
I screamed about it but TP made me look bad after that![]()
saving him in case he was needed.
He wasn't.
It sure seemed that way.
Leading to Why does Pop give him sacred cow status?
Same here.
I had no idea and am glad after yet one more miss he went on to sink 6 or 7 straight. Did not see that coming.
Patty taking it with class it seems.
Got to sign Patty.
I actually agreed with the moves Pop made. Patty did the heavy lifting and was most likely spent. Enrique's statline was comparably laughable and Pop knows what motivates the poodle (saving face). He knew Parker would go on a tear and so he did. Therefore it was, a good call.
Trying to hold down Patty's contract demands.![]()
Patty was taken out because his lightning energy services were collapsing the AT&T one more minute and that place would explode, serious damage people.
This desribes TP in a nuts .
Which is why if the Spurs could only have one of Patty or TP,
then I would choose Patty personally,
and wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
