Interesting article. Thanks for posting it. It is true that all of our 'big three' took less money than they could have gotten elsewhere for the their talents.
I have never had any sympathy for Kevin Garnett, who never got a championship in Minnesota, but he also vacuumed up every single cent they had for himself for the first several post-rookie contract years he had.
Most of our big 3, especially early on, took plenty of money. Pretty much max given the cir stances. They didn't start taking discounts until later in their careers after they had several nice contracts. Kawhi is not going to give up much if anything and nor should he. He has his future to be concerned with.
