    a) phoenix would match 12 mil for bledsoe
    b) you aren't getting sanders for a first ... especially if the bucks select a center with a broken foot and back problems
    c) that team doesn't make the playoffs anyway

Phonenix already has Dragic, do you think they would match at 12 million?

Plus that team can beat a lot of teams in the west. YOu have stouch defenders at the 1,3 and 5. and you offense all over the court. Young legs everywhere.

i guess it's possible, considering it's made from a (allegedly) lakerfan, that scenario i would call it a quality post, if i'm correct you're missing some cap holds and the team wouldn't make the playoffs anyway.

Has Nick Young exercised his player option yet? I can't imagine him wanting to go back to L.A. He didn't put up great numbers this season but it's certainly worth more than $1M/year and probably worth more than 1/2 MLE.

Add to that the fact that there's literally no "wow" factor to playing in L.A. at the moment unless it's with an actual le contender like the Clippers. Players like Nick young will sacrifice salary to play with someone like Lebron. They won't do it to play with a washed up 22/5/5 @ 42% Kirby.

    It'll look more like this

PG: Steve Nash, Jordan Farmar or Steve Blake
SG: Kobe, Jodie Meeks, Othyus Jeffers
    SF: Xavier Henry, Brandon Rush
    PF: Ryan Kelly, BJ Mullens
    C: Spencer Hawes, Sacre

Patty isn't in that photo, but I'd probably take those guys over the team in the OP. People think that because SA can play a group of scrubs and beat a playoff contender, anyone can gather a bunch of starters from other teams and be playoff contenders. It doesn't work that way. Bonner on any other team is a massive liability. Pop knows how to use him so he's an asset. Pop used CoJo to do some real work in a few games. I couldn't see the Lakers doing that because Kobe demands the goddamn ball too much. He's not going to let anyone else get any of the spotlight.

Kobe wants to be seen as a winner. He doesn't actually want to win. If he can have both that's great, but not at the sacrifice of the 1st.

Dat team doesnt suck but is far from le contention ...
Tank another season the 2015 first rounder is top 5 protected.
Do your homework on Embiid. If he will be fine, take him if he falls. IF not get take BPA and tank again.
Tell kobe to eat that turd sandwich and like it for $24 million ...

Can't use the MLE and cap space in the same year. The Lakers could bring one of Meeks or Young back for the room exception, but that's it. And that's not a bad thing, seeing as you currently have four guards as your five bench players. Doesn't matter, though, as Sanders would take more than the Lakers could offer with Nash, and Bledose is a Sun for $12 Million.

    Hilarious son!

Any other human being, especially one in KB's position would shut up,

cash a few checks, and keep his mouth shut.

    Have some ACTUAL PATIENCE.

    But not Kirby.

Kirb will cry to the media like the Lakers wronged him or something.

Kirby, whom the Lakers gifted every single le he has to him.

The 3 peat Shaq is obvious.

And he shouldn't have even gotten Gasol,

another Stern, Jerry West to the Lakers

    no look pass.

And yet after only season of two of losing,

when the Lakers are paying him 2 or 3 times what he's worth,

when it is in fact that "generous extension,"

    killing their Salary Cap,

that is keeping the Lakers from

putting a contender on the floor.

    But Kirby, who defends his

    extension to the death,

    somehow thinks

the rules of NBA Basketball Management 101

    don't apply to his team,

    and that somehow, someway,

the Lakers should be able to

    create a time machine,

    and go get 95 Hakeem,

    and sign him for a

    whopping 1m a year.

    Kirby has truly reached

    Jordan level delusions.

There's nothing in it for the Lakers to tank consecutive seasons. If you tank and get a ty pick, you cannot just tank again. On some teams you can, but not the Lakers. Lakers fans aren't going to wait for 2 or 3 years of tanking just to get back to the Finals, and since so many Lakers fans are Kobe fans first, it's certainly not going to happen. Your best bet is to jump ship now, probably to KillaLebronnot3.

A step by step guide to making your very own 2014-15 Lakers roster:

Ingredients needed are a Tired Old Bag and a roster full of .

Step 1. Open Tired Old Bag.
Step 2. Deposit until roster requirements are met.

..and youre done! Enjoy mediocrity !

even if you could assemble such a squad, you'd still only have a marginal playoff team in the west, at best...
