I don't think the 2007 team would beat the 2006 team.
The 99 vs 13 game would be a good one
I picked our 5 championship teams and the remaining 3 as teams that were one play away (2004, 2006, 2013) from going further that year. I seeded them based on their regular season win %. Now it's time for the fun! This is how far as I could predict, but 2014 vs. 2005 is way too close to call. The winner gets the 1999 team. Who wins??
Regular season win % Seed 1999 0.74 3 2003 0.731707317 4 2005 0.719512195 5 2007 0.707317073 7 2014 0.756097561 1 2004 0.695121951 8 2006 0.743902439 2 2013 0.707317073 6 Round 1: (1)2014 vs 2014 (8)2004 vs ? (4)2003 vs 2005 (5)2005 (2)2006 vs 2007 (7)2007 vs 1999 (3)1999 vs 1999 (6)2013
I don't think the 2007 team would beat the 2006 team.

13 and 99 team would be a good matchup. 13 has superior wings, but duncan and robinson at that point destroys duncan and splitter/diaw today
I can't picture the Spurs playing against each other. I prefer to think of them playing against other teams. Like, would the 2014 Spurs beat the 2005 Pistons, and what would that series look like? Or, to get radical, could any of the Spurs teams beat the 2001 lakers? More interesting hypothetical to me.
I think they would, since Duncan didn't have plantar fasciitis in 2007.
2014 Spurs vs 2005 Pistons would look a lot like 2014 Spurs vs 2014 Heat.
Give the Pistons more credit than that.
They were also a 54-28 team with little depth and a championship hangover.
They were a great defensive team, better than the heat. But I don't think they could gave scored enough points to keep up with the spurs.
