Apparently a few years back Popovich asked Parker to take a more aggressive role with the team, thus increasing his scoring average, yet when he had games where he went, oh I don't know, 6-24, s began to call him hero.
Other times they called him a god.
Enrique = "I can be your Hero" Song = Tony playing Hero ball and supposedly screwing the team over just so he can "get his" regardless of how bad he is playing.... Not without merit sometimes TBH.
Most notable when parker waves off everyone else and tries to do it all himself despite laying an egg the entire game, supposedly just to keep his scoring average up.
It sure seems that way sometimes.
Luckily, Enrique didn't make an appearance in the finals.
