How about listing notable weaknesses of the Spurs, and then see which team can best exploit that weakness?
The Spurs weakness has never been, and will unlikely be their defense, so we should look at the offense.
On offense, the Spurs can create shots inside (see Duncan), and out (see Parker and Ginobili). They can also nail open jumpers with respectable consistency in Horry, Ginobili and Barry.
The Spurs used to be vulnerable when the other team pack the lanes and make them shoot outside jumpers. Ginobili, Horry and Barry cured that.
They are notably poor at making FTs, but no team will foul them just to send them to the line, that's stupid because the Spurs have about a 70% chance at making a FT, vs. a 45% of making a FG.
The creativity of the Spurs on offense used to be a huge problem, but Ginobili shattered that, and can create plays on the fly now.
I don't see any notable weakness in the Spurs other than day to day consistency, and barring injuries, there doesn't seem to be any team that matches up well with the Spurs (other than the Pistons)
