I could live with AT&T Arena.
The ATTA.
Will SBC be AT&T or keep its ID?

When SBC Communications Inc. completes its $16 billion takeover of AT&T Corp., the telecommunications giant will have to decide what to do with one of American business' iconic name brands.
Will San Antonio-based SBC ditch its own name in favor of AT&T, try to somehow combine the two, or let die a 114-year-old moniker that's one of the world's most-recognized business brands? And what will happen to corporate sponsorships like the SBC Center arena?

hmm, Mohammed Atta.
Why would SBC extinguish its own SBC trademark and advertisng in favor a failed dinosaur's trademark?

Like a plant wending it's way to the light source...
the telecommunications industry cannot be deterred from working it's way back to giant, monopoly status.
I like the SBC Center... I hope they leave the name as is.
Surprise Surprise.....we finally agree on something!![]()
They should use both names, depending on which has a better image in a particular market.
Since SBC has no recognition outside the U.S., using AT&T there makes more sense.
Maybe they could try something lame like "AT&T Court at SBC Center"...
AT&T presents the SBC Center.
