overpay for an injury prone man..
Livingston gets 3 years 16 mil from GS. Is this what Mills is worth, more or less?
What do you think? How do you use this to gauge Mills?
overpay for an injury prone man..
probably less. Livingston is a 6-7 PG who can guard several positions. He is a solid pick up. Mills is an speedy guard who can flat out shoot and plays well off ball. I'd peg him at 3 years 12-14 million
Its 3 years, 16 million not 5 years 60 + i wouldn't even call it a gamble.
This signing is about GSW getting a replacement for Klay and now can make the trade for Kevin Love. I like the move if they get Kevin Love.
I'm really happy for Livingston. I loved watching him D opposing PGs up when he was on LA.
Good. He sucks. No need to get worried about Steve Kerr the genius apparently.
he does not suck
he outplayed Williams with nets
I'm telling you guys, after OKC, the dubs are a main threat to us out West. We'll see who the clips and Houston try to buy to be legit threats, too.
I could eat two big macs and outplay Deron Williams.
Deron Williams is like if you replaced one Spurs player with some fat drunk guy from the stands.
you are funny if you could you would not be on spurstalk.com you would be trying to get a nba team to give you the $$$
This is true IMO. I was skeptical about Avante claims at being faster than Peyton Hillis, then I saw the video.
Even if it doesn't happen, it's a good move because now Curry can play off the ball now and slide over to the 2.
The West getting better and tougher. Meanwhile in the East....

Good for him, totally deserves it after the mishap in his career. No way he could've been had for $2M++ unless he was THAT desperate.
He would have been a good fit on the Spurs, especially with Mills injury. Instead the West gets even tougher.
I think many on this board under-rate Patty's worth - he is 25, just beginning his prime, and probably has another level of improvement in him. More than that, he's clutch as , thrives on pressure.
To keep him I think we need to pay him 18-24/4 (edit: 16-20 given the injury), and he would then be an integral part of the succession plan. If Tony leaves, Patty gives us a competent PG who can shoot, play the pnr and run the offence, and who has a knack for drawing charges. If TP decides to stay after next season, he switches to Manu's 6th man role to prolong his career but still plays 24-30mins while Patty starts.
As for Livingston, he would have been a decent fit here although his lack of shooting range is not a great fit. He doesn't have TP/Patty's ability to hit 18ft pullups, nor shoot the 3 (I know TP doesn't shoot many 3s, but he's very accurate when he does, and often seems to hit back-breaking 3s at crucial times in the past couple of years).
