Looks pretty solid until "Final Thoughts".
Nobody is going to offer Bayne . He was playing overseas 18 months ago and hasn't played more than 20 meaningful NBA minutes since.For the right price, Baynes is extremely valuable as a 3rd string center;
Neither Diaw or Daye are stretch 4's. The logical move is to excise Errors by whatever roster/trade trickery is possible to free up an open slot.As for Matt Bonner, the guaranteeing of Austin's contract might be the tell-tell sign that Matty is on his way out; I mean, how many stretch 4s do the Spurs really need? Now that Boris is back and Austin is waiting at the wing, that open roster spot seems more valuable than a returning player that is used squarely in situational purposes at best.
Other than those two nits, solid writeup of the cap situation.![]()
