It definitely is a bit much, but since it's short should be a non-issue overall. Plus Lowry got a pretty reasonable deal (we might not be saying that in a year or two) so it makes it a bit easier.

Diaw only played 3.5 more minutes per game last yr than vazquez but is gonna make 1 million/yr more. And vazquez is younger.
