C minus. I'm being generous. Basically a 70 only because they get Tyson Chandler back. They choked on getting Ariza, Gasol, Deng, Parsons, and Memo. They also let Vince carter walk. If they fail to get Stephenson then definitely a D minus. Mark Cuban has ed this team's roster up big time.

Fair assessment. Given the current roster, I believe the Mavs could be a 5 or 6 seed next year. Could easily see them winning a first round playoff series. I don't think they are good enough to go further than that as currently constructed.
