Interesting how the right-handed Parker shoots best at the side of the rim where he should be using his left hand.
The SI Nylon Calculus people have a new shot chart format that provides more context about both where and how successful each player is from each position on the court. Note that the colors are versus the NBA player average for shooting from a given location and not absolute.

The interesting thing for me was seeing the effect of minor changes in shooting location making large impacts in accuracy. Things like Kawhi being mediocre on side threes but being off the charts on top of the arc threes, while Bonner flips that those locations. Duncan being a lot better from the right top of the key versus left.

Kawhi's shot chart for the last 3 years is really interesting. Looks like he's gotten more disciplined about where he takes his shots over time. But surprised to see his corner 3's have deteriorated over time. On the other hand, 3's above the break have improved and so have his shots in the paint.
