Did you also get that package at Best Buy? My HP has worked well ... no problems at all.
It looks like a pretty good set if anyone needs the complete package.
No offense taken Aggie but that is not true. Not an HP, not with all of the hardware etc and not "twice as fast" either. Believe me, I factored what I paid and what new systems are going for today and it is a great price. I also put "OBO" so if someone wants to offer less, I'll consider it.
Timvp, I did not purchase it as a package but the CPU did come from Best Buy. I LOVE HP! I have never had any problems whatsoever with HP. They are high quality.
My mom is looking for a newer pc but I don't know how much she is willing to pay for one. I'll ask her.
How old is your pc?
That is not too bad.Hewlett Packard 751n CPU: With Windows XP

80 GB hard drive
CD-RW & DVD
It was purchased in May, 2002.
Did you update it?
He's giving you the hardware specs, does it matter if he updated it or even when he purchased?![]()
Yeah it does.
It's a little high priced. You can a brand new one for around $600. That doesn't come with a scanner or printer, but it has a better CPU, HD, memory, and an LCD monitor.
I don't understand why it would matter if he updated it or even when he purchased it. You buy based off speed.
Eh, whatever. I agree, though. I don't think you'll get 650 but it is not a bad system by any means.
Well, if he just bought the system and hadn't used it, there would have been less wear on it. I know people that I wouldn't buy anything they upgraded themselves. Maybe he made some changes to the system that aren't reflected in the specs he gave.
