I had to drop off some stuff at my MIL's, she lives a few blocks from a used record shop (have yet to see a record). I drop in there every few months, a lot of that off the wall stuff (The Why Store?) to be discovered.

Who in the is Willie G? The liner notes .."He is a phenomenon whose voice is smooth as silk, powerful as an earthquake".....huh?

Apparently he's a blues guy, so how is it I've never heard of him? I didn't think that was possible. I'll listen to this phenom later tonight. Also scored a couple Marc Cohn CD's, ya mix him in with Jack Johnson, Chris Isaak, Michael Younger. His cover of Nilsson's...On the Radio....bravo~~~~~~~

The reason Galimore never had a 1000 yard season was because the Bears also had a stud fulllback named Rick Casares who did have a 1000 yard season.

Right after Davenport left SOU, here came Rod Milburn. He;d break all of Willie's records and win the Oly gold.

The Allman bros did a great cover of that McTell (Bob Dylans fav bluesman) blues classic.
