Some of his podcasts are pretty good. Perhaps that's what they're aiming for.
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of him in NBA Countdown... if they could also get rid of Sage Steel, that would be great too, tbh...

I thought Wilbon was pretty good, when they got rid of him but kept Rose and Simmons I couldn't believe it.
He can be annoying sometimes, but he is a good troll tbh
Also, Mike Breen should be in troll mode more often; politically correct Breen is , but when he is trolling he is awesome tbh
I liked Simmons and Collins on Countdown. Too bad they couldn't keep them and then poach Kenny Smith from TNT to take over for Jalen.
He sounds like a ing prick on TV. Nothing wrong with his writing tho

His writing is entertaining. Solid hoops a en. Sucked on TV and I am not a huge fan of Jalen he is a poor man's Stuart Scott always singing and rapping corny . Stu at least was clever in the old ESPN days with Olberman, Patrick and Kilborn. Now he and Jalen remind me of your old uncle using catch phrases and saying "As you young folks say" . GTFO.
Though Kenny's ego is out of control, he and chuck are authentic. They dont try to be hip and are cooler because of it.
I do like collins and Hubie though.
Breen is fine not great not bad.
JVG is smart but tries too hard to be funny in a dorky white kind of way.
His writing is terrible, he's beaten the "pop culture references" schtick into the ground and he'll use anything as an excuse to segue into whining and crying about Boston sports....
I actually like Simmons as long as Boston sucks. He doesn't add in the fluff, just calls it like it is IMO
No Simmons, Rose or Magic please.
I liked simons on the show do not like rose
I felt the opposite about Wilbon.
He spent half the time bragging about who he had dinner with the night before and begging players to be friends with him. It got pretty embarrassing at times.

Simmons might be bad but Jalen Rose is the worst analyst in TV history. You pulled the race card for no reason there

Jalen Rose needs a speech coach. Probably a worse public speaker than Mark Jackson.

Jalen's manner of speaking annoys the out of me but he and Simmons have created good chemistry on ESPN, me thinks...
