"Still need to confirm this but it appears that the San Antonio Spurs have a new basketball court design for the 2014-15 season.
The new Spurs' court will feature main "Spur" logo on court. Spurs word mark from last season will no longer be on floor.
The Baseline that reads "San Antonio Spurs Basketball" will now read "San Antonio Spurs" in larger font size. Top of court baseline near scorers table will have spurs.com and spurs in larger font size as well.
This court looks really slick!"

I kind of like it tbh. Although I liked the "Spurs" one the last couple of years too.
If that is indeed the court I am going to be kinda sad. No more S-P-U-R-S chant with the Coyote. After all that work he put in to cover the distance between the larger more spaced letters from the most recent change too.
It's likely the league needs to pre-approve court design changes, much like they pre-approve jersey number changes. Being that 2K is an official licensee, I suspect it's very likely that's indeed the new league-approved court design.

I like it. Although I really liked the Spurs wordmark design the past couple of years as well...
I honestly was not a huge fan of the "Spurs" word logo on the court. The full logo looked much better, not sure why they changed it.
But if we're going without the full logo, the plain Spur logo will probably look better.
Damn. got excited when I read the thread le. Was hoping for a court with more life, like the Dome/SBC courts.
Oh well. They can put whatever they want at the center, but personally I've never been a fan of an all-black court.
I prefer the current court we have. If this is indeed the new design, I sure hope it looks better in person.

damn, those graphics, i thought that was a screenshot from a real game at first. in 100 years, people won't be able to tell whether something is a video game or real life.
Looks like Spurs are finally starting to acknowledge that technology and social media actually exist. For years we've been the only team without @ Spurs on one end of the court.
It's just too bad the AT&T center has no WIFI and getting an internet connection in there is a nightmare. I couldn't believe I couldn't access Twitter when I went to a playoff game there last year. And the music they play is still very old-school and they have a 90's-centric playlist. A PR guy called my house a few weeks later and asked about my experience, and I lied and said it was great, but I really couldn't believe how outdated everything was in terms of the fan experience. The Spurs really need to get with the times.
It is hilarious that the AT&T Center doesn't have an AT&T hotspot.
lol yeah quite the opposite too. They seem to have like a signal blocker in there or something because the reception is terrible.
