I think the spurs will try to trade Beno Udrih for a draft pick and let Brent Barry play backup pg for more mins and Finley will back up Manu Ginobili or Bruce Bowen..what yall think??![]()

Negative. Beno is sticking around because he's a backup PG that is economical. With Finley, we'd take a pass on Devin Brown and perhaps sign NVE for the LLE. Who knows, like Kidd and Zo, maybe NVE has told the Spurs to tell Finley if he signs with them he'll sign, too. Did NVE and Finley get along when in Dallas?
While the Spurs are certainly looking to win right now, I don't think they would just dump a young guy like Beno. Particularly since his contract is so damn small that the Spurs wouldn't be able to get much out of the deal, and he's still got a lot of room to grow. On top of that having a 3rd PG (particularly a fairly competent one) is a valuable thing. If the Spurs can get NVE to sign then maybe shopping Beno around is going to be worthwhile, but otherwise I think he's worth hanging onto for the moment.
I agree, no need to trade Beno. He can come off as 3d PG.
Beno is too young to let go. He has alot of potential I say keep Beno and if NVE wants join in then you got a fight for the 2nd PG position.
Trading Beno would be a collossal mistake.
Beno to me has more potential than TP at times.
A case can be made that Udrih is a better fit in the Spurs system than Parker is. A decision won't be made until the team can't afford to keep both of them, which won't be more than a couple of years.
Beno's contract is so small that the only way I think the Spurs would deal him is in a package with other players. Otherwise, it really doesn't make sense.
Very true, we got a real good deal on stealing him away before any other team saw his potential
