daughter got a waffle maker from a friend for her b-day (she actually asked for it).

bought some cheap Bisquick mix to try it out and it makes good waffles. At some point, we'll work on homemade.

Last night, I made a waffle and put ham then after I took it out, folded it over ham and cheese. And as simple as that was, it was pretty damn good. So now, I'm on a quest to discover waffle creations.
I think tonight, I'm going to make a bacon and egg sandwich on a waffle.

Maybe do a PB&J soon also. Also, maybe like a Monte Cristo without deep frying it.

    Anyone get freaky with waffles?

I also bought a ing ice cream cake from Albertson's for no real reason other than it looked good. And it was good.

and fyi...I just looked this up...there's only 82 calories in a waffle. Less than a slice of bread. Plus I only use on waffle.

    Durrrrrr

I haven't had a waffle in ages, they're in' great though. I haven't bought bread in months actually, does wonders. I'm on a strict setup over here. You should just go all out and make a sausage egg and cheese waffle sandwich. Speaking of which, there's this great burger that I haven't had since last winter. Burger, egg, hash brown, cheese and syrup (they also add bacon but I don't eat bacon unless it's crispy so that's a no go).

I keep it simple, just add a little cinnamon and pecans to the batter. But when I take that big waffle iron out we use it 2 or 3 days in a row because it's so bersome to clean.

This was my plan except I was going to use bacon. But I was so hungry that I didn't want to with eggs.
    Damn...that burger...

IDK. This thing is fairly small. Your pour batter in, close the lid and rotate it over. It doesn't seem hard to clean. All I had to do was leave it in the kitchen and go watch TV. The next day, it was and span.

I got a cheap black and Decker waffle maker from Walmart that does the trick.

Add blueberries, cinnamon and almonds to mine
