    Kawhi has the potential to be a star in this league, primarily because he's an exciting American, which means more media coverage, more sponsors, more revenue for the franchise. Spurs haven't had that since D-Rob. Hopefully his shoe sells, his popularity will sky rocket, probably start seeing shirts with the hand sign.

    ^I firmly believe if Manu Ginobili played his career with another team his status would be up there with Nowtiski.

    He's had to deal with being a perpetual sixth man, and combined with the low-key atmosphere he never got the warranted acclaim.

    Not complaining but just bringing it up to your point of Leonard being American.

    pop mentioned this on the "champions revealed" special. said he affected their overall stats by playing them less minutes but the players agreed that they all did it for what was best for the team.

    Why do people insist on calling it the claw? Is this the offical name for these shoes? If so, it sucks. Even Kawhi said he hated that name; you would think he'd have some say in it. Not only that, but these article writers are under the impression that his teammates have given him the name. Is this the same universe where the Berenstein Bears have been changed to the BerenSTAIN bears? What in the is going on?

    Not the real name of the shoes. They are a pair of custom Air Jordan 6, I've posted another photo in the sneaker thread with The Hand logo on another pair of recent kicks , the Air Jordan XX9.

    An article has referred to it as The Claw logo, but I'll wait till I hear it from Kawhi himself. That just never sounded right to me and as you mentioned in that post game interview he definitely wasn't feeling it.
