I think that they are going for Van Exel if Damon Jones isn't re-signed there.
The Miami Heat presently have only one point guard on their roster in Jason Williams. My understanding is they wouldn't be able to re-sign Damon Jones if they sign Finley, with Jones likely leaving for Cleveland for more jack.
Am I missing something here? Do they have any contingencies for who will handle the ball after the erratic J-Will? Would they be better off chasing Earl Watson or getting Jones back than adding another athletic shooter?
Would this play a factor in Finley's decision?
