Last season's(Mavs) 8th seed had 49 wins.
This year, with the improvements in several teams in the west, how much wins do you think will be needed to be the 8th seed in the west?
Taking into account that the thunder would also be fighting for the 8th seed, which means that the 1st-3rd seed teams are not going to "fight" for the 1st seed to avoid thunder, I think that the difference in the number of wins between 1st-8th will be very very tight.
Probably the same as last year, tbh..

Which ever number keeps the Thunder from making playoffs
I think you'd need at least 50 wins to clinch a playoff spot in the west this season tbh since today's East seems to be tier than ever before
