"he just got here"
...considering we're gonna be missing 5 players, what would be your read on that, tbh?
Pop thinks he sucks.
Wow, lol - I came here to start a thread like this. He was in street clothes last night, but suited out the other 2 games; I would be very shocked if he didn't play tonight..
"he hasn't gotten over himself yet."
I wouldn't read too much into it. Sure it could mean Pop isn't impressed with him but more likely it would just mean Pop is just being Pop and making sure a rookie has "gotten over himself". I hate that about Pop but it's what he has always done with new guys. That said, I expect to see him get some minutes tonight.
Then it's exactly what Pop did with George Hill, Blair, Anderson, etc etc
He's not over himself and still lacks the needed corporate knowledge.
Going on almost five entire lunar rotations since Pop delivered a le, he had better get his act together.
With the playoffs right around the corner, I'd say it means-- what's that? The playoffs don't start for six months?? Oh, in that case it doesn't mean anything.
anderson is not going to get any minutes until we get into a blowout game, which from the looks of things may be sometime from now (unless we are the ones getting beat down).
IF HE DOESNT PLAY TONIGHT FIRE POP AND RC AND HOLT IMO
Nights like tonight on a back to back, is when he should play. Ariza isn't the most athletic wing anymore also, so I think it should be a good match up for Anderson.
So many great things Pop does this is one of the things we have to accept from him. Dude loves his mind games.
I think the most logical explanation is he is still a bit too unfamiliar with the extremely complicated Spurs playbook.
Cory Jo figgin to go HAM on the haters
Fire everyone. Blow up the team. Spurs aint getting in the playoffs.
He would have definitely played by now if Pop thought highly of him. I don't think it's because he's a rookie at all. Right now Pop just doesn't trust him to be on the court.
And Kyle just doesn't have a professional mindset yet. Check his twitter feed -- he's talking about playing FIFA on Xbox all day. If he wasn't wearing a Spurs jersey you'd think he was just an ordinary 21 year-old kid.
Was he with Timmy?
He will be deemed the least successful "Anderson" in Spurs history, behind Derek, Willie, James and Cadillac.
enough said.
