that's means we end up with nothing. i'll stick with rasho and the pick. i wouldn't even give the pick for him.
how about the spurs trade rasho and second round draft pick for Michael Olowokandi
that's means we end up with nothing. i'll stick with rasho and the pick. i wouldn't even give the pick for him.
That's the best idea of the year right there.
ya your wright i just checked out the file rasho bettar that Michael Olowokandi
I got an antidote handy for this guys drug habit.
wtf is wrong with you... i could play center better than kandi man
I would do Nesterovic for Olowakandi but not including a pick.
This year Nesterovic doesn't really have space on the team and next year we will be getting Scola so it is better to clean up some spaces now.
Besides let's not forget that Olowakandi was the first pick of his year class and his stats are also pretty good. And he is stronger than Nesterovic.
The Spurs didn't want Kandi two years ago. Why would they want him two years later -- two years older and lazier.
And something else, most people here say that Nesterovic is not overpaid because most centers in the league get the kind of money he gets but we are not talking about any team, we are talking about the spurs, a role model as regards salaries. To make an idea of how much money rasho gets, lets just say that manu is almost paid the same.
Besides next year, we will get a much better player in Scola that will come for half the price than Rasho. The last i remember about Nesterovic is that he only played almost 7 minutes per game in the playoffs and we won the championship. We don't need him anymore.
Scola will still have a buyout next year. Who knows if he will ever be a Spur.Besides next year, we will get a much better player in Scola that will come for half the price than Rasho.
If we could get him for Nesterovic then we would make a big deal financially, even better than trading for TAWand minnesota might actually accept that deal as they get a center that had great numbers playing for them. I don't think salaries would care so much for the timberwoles. After all, they did overpaid Jaric this off-season.
You posted before researching??![]()

That poll is on the wolves' website:
Who is your favorite foreign player in Timberwolves history?
Marko Jaric
41%
Rasho Nesterovic
32%
Luc Longley
20%
Stojko Vrankovic
5%
Gundars Vetra
2%
Nesterovic - 32 %, that could mean that there are wolves fans that want Nesterovic back.
A Olowakandi-Nesterovic could actually be good for both sides.
For us even if Olowakandi does bad we win and the wolves could get a reliable center to start based on his old experience with them.
What in the does this mean???
I've never been more ashamed of myself when I wanted Michael Olowokandi as our replacement for DRob. That's my take on Kandiman.
That's a re ed trade. I think we are fine at the big man spots.
Duncan
Nazr
Horry
Oberto
Rasho
You don't need more than that. I think we need a solid defensive back up SF, or possibly a PG.
lol, everyone that say it is a bad deal are based on the player itself but not in their contracts.
Besides the combo:
Duncan
Nazr
Horry
Oberto
Rasho
is great but the 5 players won't be playing. In the last playoffs only Duncan, Mohammed and Horry were seing good minutes. with only 4 players in the rotation Rasho played 7 minutes per game, imagine what will happen with 5 players in the frontcourt rotation.
How much do you charge for a gram?
I want some.
It's no pipe dream. I'm sure the Wolves would do that trade ASAP. They're trying to unload him as we speak for another big man. We currently have 4 big men that are better then him, Duncan, Nazr, Oberto, Rasho.
Anyway, it seems this topic has no point.
I will just say that Nesterovic for Olowakandi would be a great deal financially and that we wouldn't lose much without Nesterovic on the roster.
Older...Yes
Lazier..Impossible
He's always been that lazy.
