It's only Monday...still 5 days away from the game...and I'm nervous as .
This is the biggest game of my life.....hope we don't lose by 40.
What do you prognosticators have to say and why?
Myself, Bama is not the same as previous Bama teams.
Reasons? I think in part the addition of Lane Kiffen. For whatever reason(s), and i suspect there are some, he brings an undisciplined aura to whichever team he gets involved with. Stupid self inflicted penalties, etc. He is not the "QB whisperer" as some had him with this current Bama QB.
Miss ST i saw most of the game vs Arkansas. Very unimpressive and only Ark screw ups allowed them to escape.
Every team it seems has a bad game on the way to an NCAA *championship* so i'm all for giving MSST a mulligan vs Ark.
Bottom line,
Bama at home.

Well MSU won in Death Valley this year.....so anything is possible. However, it is still going to be a tough game no matter what the QB situation is.
Keep Bama's linebacker like safeties honest with passes. Something LSU was not able to do. Those guys are vulnerable. MSUs D appears to be every bit as good as LSU. And MSU's offense is a of a lot better. But I get the mental hurdle of beating a team that has dominated.

Dude...it's not a hurdle. It's more like Mount Everest. We were in the same situation a couple of years ago...Miss. St. was 8-0 and a whole "we believe" campaign was started. Needless to say we went into Alabammer and got our asses handed to us.
But...you're right. Our QB situation is much better this time and our Defense is just as good as Alabama is. I just hope Lane Kiffen calls a terrible game and our defense can get a few turnovers.
I hope MSU wins. Uncle Saban can pull some miracles in a one game playoff, especially against a passing team like FSU. MSU would most likely sneak into the Playoff even with a lose, certainty if it's a close game
i really hope alabama wins so one certain poster will stop posting like he's all of a sudden the expert on college football since his team is having a fluke season

What if MSU loses. Wouldn't they have the best loss of any one loss team? So if they end up with but one loss as does Bama, hmmmm?

I think Bama will win in a close one. But MSU will still be in control of its own destiny as far as making the playoffs.
Alabama is the superior team, but they have not played up to their potential this year. I believe they have been way too cute with their play calling. Too much passing on first down when they have Yeldon and Henry in the backfield. Its not on Kiffen either, as this problem has been growing for years. Being that the game is at home, I think Alabama will pull it out, but it could be close. If it was on the road I would definitely favor Mississippi State.
I'll say Bama in a close one. Then Bama beats Aub and wins the seccg. Miss State rebounds and wins the egg bowl.
