After your Mariners sweep their asses this week, Boston will be up 5 1/2 again.
They're a game and a half back now. JimCS is getting nervous.

You a red sox fan?
oops yeap.
I think they can, just for the statement above ^.
No
They'll end up losing the head to head meetings at the end and lose the division by 3 games to Boston
You think NY can win at Seattle???
Sure they can.... only cuz you don't think they can.
I'll go against your stupid odds.![]()
theres no way... we still have 6 more games at fenway against the yanks... and were playing almost all of the games we have left are against tampa bay and baltimore, the bluejays... we have to make up that rain canceled game with the white sox but everyone that we are playing is at home and basically all under .500 teams... xcept the yanks... and the a's
while the yanks are going to play on the road for a very long time
Boston has 33 more games.
21 at home
12 on the road
NY has 32 more games
13 at home
19 on the road
Looks like it is virtually impossible for NY to catch Boston, given the two teams winning percentages on the road.
If Giambi starts hitting like he was in July... he'll give them a run for their money.

Boston was lucky to win last night after trailing 5-0 after first 2 innings with that hasbeen Schilling on the mound.
I really do not think Boston can win it all this year, given their HORRIBLE pitching situation.
But things can change in the next month, so we will just have to wait and see.
What the ? Boston fans are worse than ing Yankees fans. Has been? That ing has been was the savior 9 months ago. You'd have sucked his for ten hours if he asked you to. Now he's a has been?
Fickle.
hence the term "hasbeen"

Boston made a mistake in letting Lowe leave. They overestimated the recovery of Schilling's ankle. He is only a s of his former self so far. That being said, I am going to hope that he does get his mojo back in time for the post season, they need a great Schilling to win it again.
Felix Hernandez is taking the bump tonight against The Big Unit. This is a MUST SEE game!
Come on Angels! Knock the Yankees out of the playoffs!
