I bet you could probably score against Carl Landry, my..
How can you not like this dude man!?! Seriously I want a Baynes Jersey. Serious man crush after watching this game. He an Ginobili is like watching art in motion. He's using his whole game tonight. That jumper is pretty too.
I bet you could probably score against Carl Landry, my..
Errors would struggle to score in an empty gym.
He's looked a lot better lately that's for sure
He made some shots but his defense didn't look good...
Yeah his defense definitely needs work but once Splitter is back he won't be as necessary so whatever.
he's a fine fourth big
Manu makes a lot of players look better than they really are, tbh.
Slowly he seems to be turning into a reliable backup big. I would like to see some better defense though.
Manu made Blair look like a ing allstar
Manu made Ayres look like Jeff Ayres
He has the body and technique to score inside but in his mind he lack feel for the game and some assertiveness and that make him also bad defensive player and also also on offense he could strugle when team will decide to take him seriously...
Playing nba is unique because of the heavy program. Baynes has had limited opportunities on court but is clearly being groomed. Duncan is great but old and needs rests. All Baynes is required for is to give Duncan that time off. I remember Luc Longley in his first years in the NBA ; he copped the same flak but see where he ended up. Baynes is a true big who can block a lane and learn to play the post at the top of the key. His critics are ill informed.
the question is, is he an upgrade over Franky Elson????
I say YES YES HE IS
People Baynes is not Duncan's replacement. He's a serviceable big off the bench. Many don't make Ayers look good. Lol
Tiago made Blair look like an all star in last year's playoffs
A Pro-Bowl kicker, for sure.
Nah, he was busy guarding Dirk.
Remember he has only played 84 games total in the NBA, now averaging 10 mpg. Basketball Reference has him at 10 rbg and 15 ppg if he were playing 36 minutes. I think he's getting better with every game experience. Another inexpensive, but solid, rotation player found by the Spurs.
Kori needs to change this forums name to robdiaztalk tbh.. just spits truth!!
in the last 6 games he's been averaging 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in what is roughly 16-17 minutes per game. thats solid production for a guy who projects as a 4th big once we're healthy
It's an outrage that it hasn't happened yet.![]()
