Richard Jefferson
Who are your top 5 players in terms of playing great against ty opponents in the regular season and generally being mediocre to being a negative against great teams with a few exceptions ofcourse..
Players that might be detrimental sometimes in the playoffs..their teams performing better when they are seating etc..
Kobe is one of the greatest of all time IMO, but he had a few years where I would put him in this category.
Rudy gay in his days with Memphis
Janero Paul
Parker in the last 2 years...specially in the WCF and finals.
Peja Stojakovic used to belong on this list too until he went ape on the Lakers in 2011. But what a he was in the postseason for Sacramento and New Orleans.
Chris Paul
Rudy Gay
Josh Howard
Elton Brand
Josh Smith
Hedo Turkolulu
Nick Van Exel
Joe Johnson, Houston Harden, Derrick Rose, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, David Lee, Rudy Gay, Mo Williams, John Wall, Joakim Noah..
Karl Malone was pretty clutch tbh. I don't know the advanced metrics, but him, Kobe, TMac & Clyde are bound to post identical or slightly worse stats in the playoffs than in the reg season due to their volume shooting.
Tim Duncan in Game 7 of the 2005 Finals
Amy played a small but terribly integral part in the '13 Finals. She like showed up for like 5 minutes, kicked Tim square in the sack and left.
Karl Malone is as clutch as Jordan is nice.
LeBron,,, a losing record of 2-3 in the Finals as the man speaks volumes.
Kawhi v Clips Games 5-7.
