There is no good option when you cut the cord. My advice would be to strip your cable as bare as possible to just get FSSW so you can still watch games.
I've got Grande as my cable provider and the only reason I keep extended cable is to watch Spurs games primarily on Fox Sports SW and then in the post season. I really need to get rid of cable--is ESPN online the best option with no TV?

It's fairly simple, I just turn the box (tv) on, and sit in front of it. Try keeping your eyes soley on it. Listening is a big part of this activity as well.
