Kevin Durant is expected to make his return to the Oklahoma City Thunder lineup on Tuesday at the New Orleans Pelicans barring a setback during morning shootaround.
Durant has been out to start the season after undergoing surgery on his right foot to repair a Jones fracture in mid-October. The typical recovery time is six to eight weeks for this type of injury.
Durant won the 2014 NBA MVP.
Doctors have told Durant that there's only a five percent chance of him breaking the foot again.

Thinking we're afraid of a pussy lookin, beta mvp![]()
Should be interesting. We'll see if he can break the Jones fracture curse. Still think they have dug too big of a hole to get back to the playoffs. If they do, they will have to beat themselves to death getting it done and may have nothing left for the post season. The lottery is probably a better outcome this season.
Of course he returns the night he plays the Pelicans. There goes an expected win....
A healthy OKC squad has proven they can beat San Antonio.
Meanwhile, Vagina Splitter still feels "tightness" in his calf.
One series, 3 years ago.![]()
And a healthy San Antonio can blowout any team in the league.
Vegas has some serious dirt.. no wonder why there wasn't a spread for the game in the morning
NBA has been boring without him
Spurs fans getting all defensive in this thread. The fear is real Clipper Nation![]()
4 losses separate them from the 8 seed. Only question will be if they want to go hugher up?
Hmmm being afraid of a healthy OKC.
No wonder, you couldn't even get past the 2nd round.
Tee hee
Can't blame them tbh. It's only a matter of time that they take over the west. The Spurs are just delaying the inevitable tbh.
...and you have four teams that they have to catch that are no losses out of the 8th seed. This isn't the East where there are a bunch of ty teams to get past or where a bunch of playoff teams will just start losing huge strings of games. To win 50 they would need to go 45-20 winning almost 70% of their games. That's if they stay completely healthy. They won 72% of their games last season at full strength. I'm not saying they can't do it, but it will be far from easy and I'd put a sizable amount of money on them not making it higher than the 7th seed if they do.
But, boy howdy if they beat ya. Jesus, Mother Mary & Joseph.
Manoshevitz!!!
GSW is getting a taste of 2007 this year.
lol rushing a Jones Fracture injury. i guess they don't give a because they are going to lose him in two years.
You go no in' room. You dishonor the game by sitting healthy players, in' around with it.
Welcome back. Even if you call him beta, acne, whatever dude is one of the best pure scorers i have ever seen and the only one close to Lebron right now so I am glad he is back.
Besides with him back no way we fluke a victory versus OKC ... that is 4 sure losses along with Spurs, Mavs and probably Grizz.
that. You're the one with all the ring talk, comin' back on it now, spoutin' about the "honor" of the game in the regular season, when people are flippin' back forth 'twixt reruns of Seinfeld. Good God.
Good, now he can resume beta activities and be present for the stool-pushing come April/May tbh
