Do advanced stats take a while to update?

I know it's a silly question but I want to learn more about stats that teams use nowadys..

ElNono, this wasn't the stats I was looking for..Sorry, If I am having trouble explaining with my poor grasp of the English language.

I was looking for a guide on the New stats like RPM and the likes...I only really know Defensive win shares, Defrtg, offrtg, and RPM...I was reading through a post a different site and the guy had all sorts of advanced stats that I haven't heard of before.

I don't know if i am looking for something that's not even there, but what are other good stats to look at beside the other four mentioned
