    No, they didn't. He doesn't have a number listed on the Spurs roster at spurs.com, so I guess he hasn't picked one yet.

    He wore 31 at U of Cincinnati. 31 seemed to be taken with teams when he arrived where he chose a different number.

    LA Lakers - veteran Sam Bowie had 31.
    Golden State - Adonal Foyle already had 31.
    Portland - Sebastian was already wearing 31.

    This is deductive reasoning only...but it would seem Nick has worn 31 when it was up to him.
