    Efes Pilsen WC: Slovenia easily over Italy - Aug. 30, 2005 - by Zeljko Zule
    Slovenia, the defending champion of Efes Pilsen World Cup, in the opening game of the 4th edition defeated Italy 85-68. Slovenia in second period trialed by 9 points, then made a 34-14 run, outrebouned the opponents (34-21) and easily won. Beno Udrih (194-G-82, agency: XL Croatian BC) collected 19 points and 5 rebounds and Primoz Brezec added 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.

    SLOVENIA 85 (19+22+24+20): Jurak, Lakovic 15, Capin, Becirovic 11, Nesterovic 2, Udrih 19, Lorbek 4, Joksimovic, Milic 2, Maravic 7, Slokar 9, Brezec 16.

    ITALY 68 (24+19+14+11): Calabria 5, Basile 6, Galanda, Soragna 8, Marconato 4, Pozzecco 3, Righetti 5, Gigli 2, Bulleri 14, Mordente 2, Chiacig 14, Mancinelli 5.

    Ok, i was confused someone else from slovenian says prezec is better which led me to believe he was starting ahead of rasho. Still 2 pts from your captain is lame, unless there's a very good excuse.
