let's try to be spurstradamus a bit.

Imagine Finley is going to suns or heat. spurs would have to report their attention to devin. But some question appears today contrary to yesterday clear pop comments. and he still can get a good offer.

So if Finley says no and Brown is ST for a second draft pick.
who do you pick to be the fourth wing?
in case you take barnes or another, how do you feel the 13th spot which is mandatory? the only money you have is half the MLE, the LLE and minimum contract

Sean Marks has retired, but I would look for a project player for that spot

I feel that a trade is waiting.

Last season 11th and 12th players on the roster are Wilks and Massenburg.
This year, it will be Oberto/Nesterovic and Udrih/Exel.
None of them deserve to play only garbage time.

If Spurs resign a player like Devin or get Finley, there will not have any playtime for all the players. Deep is good but are we not too deep ?

i think we are many to believe that the starting team for the regular season will not be the same starting the playoff. just like last year.

nesterovic, nazr, brent and even beno could all be part of a trade. dont forget spurs can also add to the package the rights to a foreign asset like scola or karaulov.

the question is both when and for who but something should happened.
