This defense thing could be the real deal. We should investigate it more.

Jeff Van Gundy mentioned during the WCF that Kawhi is the reason the Spurs are elite. I totally agree with him.

Most spurs fan agree with him

Theres no way the spurs would have made 3 straight WCF run (back to back finals appearances and spurs winning a 5) the last 3 years

Just a timely trade that worked amazing for the spurs

The Kawhi trade will go down as one of the best, if not the best trade the Spurs made in the last 10 years. Imagine if we stuck with George Hill, Duncan and Manu would've retired by now. Kawhi's playoff resume has been phenomenal to say the least.

    2012-WCF
    2013- Finals
    2014-Championship and FMVP

And the kid is only 23. Holy crap.

Kawhi is probably a six to eight point swing on average every game with the steals/layups to score, blocks etc.

There is no doubt he takes the Spurs up a couple of notches with his abilities.

    We miss him a lot.

I just wonder how long it will take to get his hand healthy enough to be his usual self.

These nail biter games become comfortable double digit wins with him on the floor.

Mills just adds more to that.

Kwahi would've been ineffective had this been the DK era tbh.

Kwahi & Pop put a stop to the Durant/Lebron era for the time being.
