My heart still lies in Dallas and it always will be. It's about the team and not the individual, but I will really get a kick out of seeing Cuban cry everytime we play either team..

I don't think so...they signed with the Spurs for a reason...to look forward...not look back at us....it's not like we were ever winning anything...at least they'll get a chance to contend...it just really makes me mad that its with the spurs though...

I hated the Spurs cause I felt they were our rival...but they really aernt....were just their punching bag...i should stop the hate and just enjoy the Spurs cause its not often a team like them comes around.

the only way we play the spurs in the playoffs is if we are an 8 seed while they are a 1. actually it could happen.........

Man, you know what? Nick and Fin are on the Spurs and Nash and Raja are on the Suns..thats our guard rotation from the year we made it the furthest.....and both those teams are better than us......how odd.

I really think there may be some sort of 'up yours' mentality to the choice. If money were the thing, obviously the Heat was where fin would wind up. For playing time and showing everyone in the league that he isn't done, the Suns would be the logical choice. He would have started, played an open court game that would suit him, and the Nash factor.

But he chose the Spurs. Avery's old team. Avery's old team that he is using as a new model. The model in which Avery wasn't sure if Fin fit in it. Spurs are the Mavs in - state rivals. Cuban's envy for the Spurs. He chose the Spurs despite knowing that he would likely only have a niche role on the team and would certainly be playing behind Ginobli.

Barring injury, the Spurs seem to have won themselves another le.

Any bets that Finley can suddenly rebound and play defense?
