Sorry, but Kidd would have doomed the Spurs. He will never lead a team to a ring. The only way he'll get one is by gravy training.
Jason Kidd right now arguing with Joumanna Kidd on why she didnt let him come to San Antonio. Not one, but 2 championships he could have had already if he had signed with the Spurs. Now With the additions of Mike Finley and NVE, i believe the repeat is sealed?

I don't know if things would have worked out this way,what with salary's and all but I do think Kidd has been kicking himself (and his wife) since he passed up on that opportunity.

who knows, maybe it wouldn't have worked out with Kidd. All i know is I'm glad Kidd isn't part of the Spurs team cause each time I watch a Spurs game I know they'd show Kidd's big headed son on my tv screen!!!

Sometimes the best moves are the ones that you either don't make or that fall through. This was sure one of those deals. The complexion of this team and the composition of this team would be totally different had Kidd decided to join. Who's to say we would have even won the championship in '05, much less be in a position to add a few more.
Oneal was with the pacers, and he signed with them cose of thomas, then he got fired about a month into oneals new max contract. Now if he had sign with the spurs we wouldve been nasty in the west. The same goes with brand who the spurs were also chasing that summer 2 years ago, cant blame brand though if he doesnt mind being on a losin team out through his career.

If the Spurs had signed Kidd-- A LOT of the moves made by the Spurs since then wouldn't have been possible.
How do you get that Kidd would have won 2 les? Kidd was a FA the summer of '03 (after the Spurs won the le). The Spurs have only won one le since then, right?
