Tons of League MVP's that don't belong in the HOF..

    Earl Morrall
    John Brodie
    Bert Jones
    Mark Moseley...a kicker
    Roman Gabriel

    to name a few.

Superbowl MVP's??? Do Doug Williams, Mark Rypien, Larry Brown, Dexter Jackson, Deion Branch, belong in the HOF, hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kurt Warner played on one of the greatest offenses ever, and they threw the ball, and threw the ball. He had a career full of so so seasons to go with some great ones. I like the facts.
    Kurt is in.

    Stupid old piece of .

I totally agree, yep, his story....Hollywood. Take away that Superbowl guarantee and Joe Namath isn't there. Take away those SB catchs and Lynn Swann isn't there.

I 'm just aware of all those seasons where Warner wouldn't be in any conversation about that seasons elite QB's. Yep.....unique....career,
Super bowls are a huge part of the HOF equation.

    novice fat .

Pace, Seau, Haley, Bettis, and Tim Brown would be my selection.

Is this sad to watch or what? Poor little Blake, what a loser. So miserable all the time, sad.

I say...if not for their SB exploits they aren't there. Then the freak tells me.....the superbowl plays a huge part......hahahahhaha!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't that what I said?

    Talk about stupid....wow!

    Getting back to Warner.

He only had three seasons where he started 16 games, he had seven seasons where he started 10 or less. He did have three amazing season, but six where he threw for less than 3000 yards. Actually the guy had ....three....great seasons, the rest very ordinary or weak. But....his story is unique so he'll get in ...sometime.

He took two bad franchises to Super Bowls. Rams were awful before he was starting though they brought in a ton guys to help them compete like trading for Faulk, drafting Holt, hiring Martz as offensive coordinator, improving the o-line. Plus, the defense was already strong the previous season before the Super Bowl.

Jerome Bettis and Ron Wolf confirmed

    Bettis

Wolf is worthy, but there's no room for him in this class imo

    I recognize longevity

But would anyone actually pick Bettis on their team over Davis?

Mick Tingeloff before Orlando Pace? That's a joke. Tingelhoff was a good player but he got his ass whipped in every one of those Super Bowls Minnesota lost. Too many players off those Vikings teams are in. I don't think Paul Krause deserves to be in either.

Good debate, but I do think Bettis had more natural overall talent. Davis was part of a great system which produced multiple 1,000 yard rushers following him.
